Scope and data
This policy applies to ericmuriel.com. Hosting provider Vercel processes requests needed to deliver pages, which may include IP address, time, requested resource and browser information. The current website has no user registration, direct checkout or active lead collection form. Links to ELITE IA, ScalePath and social networks lead to services with their own policies.
Purposes and legal bases
Hosting, operating and protecting the website serve the legitimate interest of maintaining a secure website. Optional analytics helps understand content visits and clicks to our projects, based on your consent. Declining does not prevent access to content. If you contact the controller by email, the information you provide is used to answer your request and, when you request a service, to take the precontractual steps you requested.
Google Analytics
After you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 loads and receives page views and clicks to ELITE IA and ScalePath. Google may process cookie identifiers and technical device and connection information. Our own events send the page path without search parameters or fragments, the page title and the referring domain; they do not send text entered into the blog search. Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals are disabled in this integration.
Recipients and international transfers
Vercel provides hosting and Google provides Analytics when you accept it. These providers may operate through infrastructure and entities outside the European Economic Area. Their processing terms describe applicable safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where relevant. Their documents are linked below. We do not claim that all data remains within the European Union.
Retention
Your analytics choice is remembered for 180 days in the browser. Analytics cookies have separate expiration periods, which are not the retention period for events in the Google account. Effective hosting log, GA4 property and correspondence retention periods are specified in the controller information above. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement; it does not automatically delete previously collected information.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability using the controller’s email address. You can withdraw Analytics consent through “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of any page without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can complain to your competent data protection authority; in Spain this is the AEPD. The analytics events described here do not determine decisions with legal effects based solely on automated processing.
Videos and external services
Student interviews initially show a local thumbnail. A YouTube player in privacy-enhanced mode loads when you press play; loading and playback may communicate technical data to Google. Declining Analytics does not block that action. Short videos are served from the CDN shown in their links and configured without preloading. Blog photographs, testimonial thumbnails and screenshots are served locally; following an external link opens a service governed by its own policy.
AdSense is disabled in this version: this integration does not load its code or request ads.
